Redesigning a homes layout resulting in a better fit for the new owners
The new owners of this Federation cottage in Arncliffe needed to adjust the existing floor plan to better suit their relaxed lifestyle. Removing a masonry wall between the forth bedroom and the large lounge room allowed for the addition of a much needed dining room.
New bi folding doors in replacement of the single door and windows onto the newly design deck opened up the space for further indoor outdoor entertaining. The addition of an over head pergola with poly-carbonate roofing and timber batons adds yet another all weather room to this spectacular home.
Indonesian columns on sandstone plinths, timber batons and elegantly shaped bi folding doors enhance and acknowledge the houses period features.
